Aaron and I decided to make a quick trip up to Flattop to enjoy some of the newly fallen snow on Saturday. We underestimated the windchill and had frozen cheeks and runny noses by days end. Instead of hiking to the top of Flattop Mountain, we took a stroll down Powerline Trail and watched all the cross-country skiing pros wiz by.
Aaron enjoyed playing (hiding?) in the trees and making the snow fall on our heads.
And I tried being cute for pictures.
Allll of the photos we took together came out blurry- but it don’t matta! I’m sure you can still imagine how gorgeous the view was. And Happy MLK Day! If it weren’t for Dr. King, Aaron and I wouldn’t have even been able to enjoy the snow together on Saturday. Here’s to you, Dr. King!
